**grid split up in to irregular shaped regions**. The number of cells in each region will vary from one cell, up to six cells for the bigger puzzles. The aim of Suguru is to fill each n -sized region with the numbers 1- n. For example, if a region has 3 cells, you need to insert the numbers 1, 2 and 3 in to those cells.

## What are the rules of Suguru?

Each cell in an outlined block must contain a digit: a two-cell block contains the digits 1 and 2, a three-cell block contains the digits 1, 2 and 3; and so on. The same digit must not appear in neighbouring cells, not even diagonally.

## What is Suguru?

Suguru is a great new Japanese logic number puzzle with only two very simple rules. The cells in each puzzle grid are divided into groups (or clusters/containers) and each group contains the numbers 1 to n, where n is the number of cells in the group. So a group that has 5 cells will contain the numbers 1 to 5.

## How do you solve hard Kakuro?

Take the squares Bb, Bc, Cb and Cc. The clues tell us that the sum of these four numbers taken column-wise must equal the sum of the column clues, ie, 10+13=23. But when the same four numbers are summed row-wise, then the result has to be the same. The sum in the row b has to be 17, because it must match the clue.

## How do you solve Kakuro fast?

The traditional way to solve a Kakuro puzzle is incremental: by using the existing information on the board, you can find with certainty the value of a specific cell which can take only one possible value. Then that value is filled and the process is repeated until all the board cells have been discovered.

## Can numbers repeat in Kakuro?

In kakuro, each horizontal and vertical group of empty blocks comes with a “clue,” which is a number. The catch is that you can only use the numbers 1 through 9, and you can’t repeat a number within one group.
